I have developed my own unique style of collage. I create these collages by overlaying cattle marker or watercolor painted paper (or recycled paintings), cut into pieces, and then assemble into layered images. I often add feathers, grasses, wheat, or other materials to complete the collage. Whenever possible, I use my own reference photos. Each piece is unique with its own individual personality and story. I am inspired by my grandchildren and my travels.
My art has received several awards and is currently showcased in Montana at the Artists' Shop in Missoula, Four Winds Gallery in Bozeman, and Kindred Spirit Gift Gallery in Sheridan; and in West Chester, PA at Strodes Mill Gallery. I often donate my art to local nonprofit organizations, including Running Free From Cancer, the fundraiser I began to help support families with cancer.
I received a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana. I also enjoy watercolor and photography.
